    Pre-written formula

    Hi,

I have a spreadsheet which has pre-written formulas (which only show you the name) in the left hand box. However when I click on one it is not taking me to the place which it should.

Does anyone know how to look behind the name and change the formula ?

Please let me know if I have not explained this well.

    Thanks

    Good morning Newton1234

When you click on a cell in Excel, if a name comes up in the box on the left hand side, then it is the cell (or range) that is named - not the formula. Click on the downward arrow to see all the names.

To create your own, or see the ranges behind the current named ranges go to Insert > Name > Define.
