    Calculating units issued

A database of serial numbers of phones has a list of the numbers that were issued. In some lines a range was issued.

Example: from 2858128 to 2903126 was issued to one client.

Using the =Sum(A2-B2) gives an answer of 44,998. This is one short as the first serial number should be taken into account. The formula should be =Sum(A2-B2)+1. I do not like this format as it exposes the adding at the end of the units issued.

I tried other but none gives me the 44,999 answer.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    Why not =A2+1-B2
    =Sum( ) is not required
What do you mean by "it exposes the adding at the end of the units issued"?
