    How to use Rank with 2 Condition

    Hello,

    I need an advice and appreciate your help.

    I would like to do a ranking on a spreadsheets. however there are 2 condition that I need to include. 1). is the highgest total points then 2) is the highest score

    Could you please advice how to do this?

    I have attached the sample files.

    The Highlighted colors are of formulaes which are Important for analysing a ranks for any sort of report.

    Hello Surya,

    Thanks for the reply. However the ranking that I need are base on the Points first then Score.

    Example:

    Points Score Rank
    24 100 (2)
    24 99 (3)
    24 105 (1)
    23 200 (4)

    Kindly advice.

    What I usually do is add a dummy column (which can be hidden). I multiply the primary criteria by a number large enough that it doesn't interfer with the secondary number (in your case 100,000) and add to the secondary number. Then I perform the RANK on that column. See example.

    Does this work for you?
