protect cells so formulas can't be seen

    hi,
I have formulas in cells of worksheets that I send my customers that I don't want them to see. Is there a way that I can protect cells so they can't see them?

When you right click on a cell, go to Format Cells, then choose the Protection tab. If you check "Hidden" and you protect the worksheet, cells labelled hidden will not show the formula.

    G'day,

Hide the formula within a hidden column, with the protection sheet active.

Depending on your layout you may give a direct cell reference to the formula so that answer can be revealed on a unhidden cell.

    Hope that helps.
