Conditional formula and results in colors

Hi. I think I have a simple question. I have an excel spreadsheet. I want a range of values to be in different colors based on their range e.g. anything between 15 and 30 is green, anything between 31-45 is red and so on...

It depends what you mean by this, ie., how many condtions do you want? You can use conditional formatting, but if you want more than three conditions, then it's not really for you.

If this is the case you could try the CFPlus add-in (it's free), or upgrade to Office 12 (it's not). CFPlus allows up to 30 conditions, and (I think) that Office 12 is limited by available memory.

    Thanks

Thanks. Condtional formatting will work. I just could not remember it and "Help" wasn't much help.
