    30 Decimal Places

I need to display 30 decimal places in a cell. I have changed the cell format and had a look in Options. The best I can do is to get 30 dp, but the display is like this: 2.718281828459050000000000000000. There should be numbers, not zeros, right to the end.

Can anyone help, please? My colleague says it works on he computer.

    Hi,

Format the cell to TEXT, then enter the number

Excel's precision level is only 15 digits...

    anything after 15 becomes 0s..

May XL2007 has increased the precision to more decimals.
Where there is a will there are many ways.
