    Calculating info for angles

    Hey people,

    now just a heads up. I absolutely stink at math, I've just been plugging in formulas.

    Check out the attached excel file for me if you can.

    The Blue letters are user info you can enter in. The Red is returned data from the computer.

    I think everything is right, except in the lower box I know "Length of C" must be wrong.

    Could someone help me with this? I was asked to do this for work, I just can't seem to figure this thing out.

    ok now this is really throwing me off.

    Check out http://www.webmath.com/cgi-bin/rtri....&b=5&d=7&a=%3F

    It says "a=b/tan D"

    But when I run the calculation A=5/tan7 (=5/tan(7) in excel) I get 0.87, not 40.7217 like the website shows

    When I run 7tan in windows calculator, I get the same result as the website, but excel doesn't give me that. What gives?

    The argument in tan() has to be in radians, not degrees.
