    Updating Links within a single Workbook

    Hello,

    Here is my general setup: I have a big cost book with hundreds of receipt sheets. Each sheet has a link back to the description, price and unit number of a master cost sheet.

    The idea is that I can go back later and adjust the cost or description of an item, and every receipt page will be updated.

    PROBLEM:

    If I take some items on the master page, and change their rate, the links don't always update themselves!! When I click in the cell to edit the formula, but leave the formula the same, and hit enter, then the ammount corrects itself.

    Is there any way to tell the workbook to update all links? I know how to tell the workbook to update links to other files, but not if all the links are within the same workbook!!

    Hi,

    Have you got calculation set to automatic? Go to Tools > Options > Calculation select Automatic

    ok, I just checked that. I have it set to automatic.

    I have a master cost sheet, total cost sheet, and then hundreds of individual cost sheets.

    And to clarify, by saying yes, I mean "yes they are all in the same workbook"
