Saving Column Width and Cell Merges

Is there a way to make it so when I open my workbook on a different computer, the cell widths, merges and other formating will stay as I intended in the original copy

    Using Office 2007 Pro

I think no one answered your prior post because a workbook should open on any computer without modification, unless it's opened in an older version of Excel that doesn't support some features in the workbook being opened. There may be differences in opening on Mac vs PC, but I'm not a Mac person ...

shg - thanks for clearifying that. Maybe I was to vague last time i tried this question. I am trying to find something in excel that allows me to save in older/different versions of excel. I am trying to make this workbook work on "Excel Mobile" on my pda style cell phone.

I think the topic is merging into my other question now so hopefuly this will continue here:

Already being a novice in excel programming, it didnt make it any easier to get the 2007 version where all the tools and everything have been moved around. Some day I'll figure it out.

Thanks to the help of people like you, its starting to come together a bit easier now.
