    hyperlink/picture editing

Hello, this is my first post! I am an intern and need a little bit of help!

I want to have a hyperlink to a picture that is already saved in "my pictures" on my computer. However, intead of clicking on it and having the actual file open up, I would like to be able to preview a small version of the picture by "scrubbing" on the link. Is this possible?

Thank you for any help what-so-ever.

    Hi This is an alternative.
Insert your (Hyperlink) picture on the sheet, from "Insert Picture".
Reduce the picture size and postion it next to your "Hyperlink" cell.
Insert a Small shape from the drawing toolbar(I chose an oval, and coloured it yellow).
Place the Shape in the Hyperlink cell (small as you like).
Right click the shape and select Assign Macro.
Click "New" on right of Macro Dialog Box.
Paste the code below in the New window.
Change the "Picture 2" name for the one you will see in the "Names" Box (Top left of sheet), when you select your Picture.
The Heading in the Window should look something like "Sub Oval3_Click()"
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Close the dialog box.
When you now click your "Shape" the Picture should appear or disapear.
Hope it works for you .
    Regards Mick
