    INDEXing Databases

I have 2 databases of multiple columns and rows, both databases columns are headed by datevalues that are progressive left to right.

I have a separate cell with a "Current Week" datevalue located in cell B54

I need to convert an INDEX formula I currently have to reference the date header and select the appropriate value in the database as opposed to the way my INDEX formula currently works which is by referencing the last column in the Database that has data in it.

I need the formula to find the date header that references the referenced current week date.

The Header rows that contain the datevalues would be:
    B1:BA1
    E61:BD61

    Here is my INDEX formula:

I think it would be best if you attach a sample workbook and identify what you need.

What are your results supposed to be in C54? And how would you get it?

I shouldn't have included cells C53 abd C54 in the sample worksheet. They are not related to my question and are generated by macros.

    Ignore those two cells.

    Thanks.

In cells BD5 & BD6 I have the INDEX formula which takes a value from the database at E61:BD61 based on the last column with data -1 column and adds that value to a value from the database at B1:BA1, then subtracts another value from the database at E61:BD61 based on the last column with data.

What I am trying to do is convert this formula to use the dates in the database headers based on the value at B54.

Instead of looking for the last column with data, I need the formula to look at the column header that matches the datevalue in B54.

I was thinking I could edit the formula I now use to find the date headed column instead.

    Thanks.
