Password For Link To External Data

    hi,
does anyone know where the password is stored for worksheets that link to external data ? ..... when i click data > refresh data on this type of worksheet, if my password has changed in the source database since my last refresh, i can't refresh the data and i have to make a brand new worksheet by exporting all over again from the source system with the new password details embedded in .....

any help would be much appreciated ......

Password For Link To External Data

The information you're looking for is stored in the Connection.

One easy way to see and edit the Connection info (and the SQL query)
is to use the Pivot Play Plus free add-in, available at
    Debra Dalgleish's website:
    http://www.contextures.com/xlPivotPlayPLUS01.html

    Does that help?
