Inserting Space Into Cell With Text

I have a column of about 150 cells that have data in them, all in this format:

    AAAA######-#

    A - letter
    # - number

I need to reformat the entire column and have a space " " between the letters and numbers.

    AAAA ######-#

Any ideas of an easy was to go about this?

Are there always 4 letters, followed by the numbers?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Then, try:

    =Left(A1,4)&" "&Mid(A1,5,255)

255 characters max... which you will probably never have...so it takes the balance of characters in the field.
