Adjusting dates for holidays

Hi

I have a list of dates that I want to then cross check against a list of holiday dates and adjust the original date accordingly.

For example, if I invested in a 1 month bank deposit on the 1st Nov 2008, it would mature on the 1st Jan 2009 i.e. I'd get access to my money on the 1st Jan 2009. However the 1st Jan 2009 is a public holiday so I won't get access to my money until the next working day e.g. 2nd Jan 2009. If I have a list of the known holiday dates for the coming 12 months, what formula can I use to check the original date of maturity (1st Jan 2009) to see if it is in fact a holiday date, and if so move forward to the next working day (2nd jan 2008).
