averaging calls per hour formula assistance

good morning.

I have a excel spreadsheet I create every morning for a call center and need assistance getting a true average of calls per hour when there are hours and minutes involved

right now my formula says =(I7+K7)/HOUR(B7)
so 32+6/7:46:57 which would equal 5.43 but its not taking the minutes into consideration (so the true answer would be 4.88)

can anyone offer assistance on how I can include minutes?

=(I7+K7)/B7/24

format result cell as number

worked like a champ. I wish I could say its hard to believe something so simple was so time consuming for me, but excel gives me a headache
