CheckBox Font Size

I have created a checkbox with the insert/form controls/check box toolbar in Excel 2007. I can right click on the check box to edit the text but it doesn't allow me to change the font size. Can anyone tell me how to change the font size of my check box?

Hi wz4np1,

Using the Forms toolbar version of the checkbox, I don't believe you can edit the font size. However, there is another checkbox that you can use - and it will allow you to change many properties.

Click View -> Toolbars -> Control Toolbox
Add the checkbox from that toolbar to your worksheet, then right-click on the checkbox and choose Properties.

In the properties window, select 'Font', then click the '...' button to the right of the font name. The Font style window will open, at which point you can change the size, type, etc..

I'd advise against checkboxes from either source, and do a web search for Marlett checkboxes. They are easy to implement, are on the same layer as the cells (i.e., not on the drawing layer), and have many fewer problems to deal with.
