    Yes/No fields exported from Access

    Hi All

Just joined and looking for some help with data exported from Access. Basically I have exported a query from Access where 2 fields are set to a Yes or No value. Now that these are exported to Excel, they are showing as a True/False result. I really don't want them displayed like this and want them to either say Yes/No or be a check box. Can anyone help with how I change this (easily - hopefully ? )

    Hi Debby

Simplest way would be to do a Find/Replace on the column (via Edit>Replace) and Find TRUE and Replace with Yes (do the same for FALSE with No).

Thanks for that - I slept on it over the weekend and came up with this as a solution. Many thanks.
I would like a ticky box still rather than a "Yes" or "No" but this is an alternative workaround

    cheers
