long IF formula for multiple values.

hey everyone

im needing help on an excel IF function. I just want to type a certain Code into
A1 and have it return a number value in B1.

The only issue is that i need to be able to type one of about 25 different values into A1 and have it return a certain number for each code into b1. for instance.

If i type

"large" into A1.....i want it to put 10.00 into A2
BUT, If i type
"small" into A1....i want it to put 8.00 into A2

im guessing ill have to use both the IF and Or syntax. any help would be greatly apreciated.
