data validation lists

the list in my data validation list opens at the bottom to blank cells. is there anyway to control where the list opens (say maybe the top)?

Hi, when i click on a data validation list and the list opens, it opens just below the last selection available. can i make it open at the 1st selection? this happens to me once in a whiole w/ different list i make and i just need to know what i'm doing wrong. thank you, Brian

If you have already made a selection in the list, the next time you select it will open to that selection..

I am not sure you can get it to always open on top, unless it is the first time you make a selection.
