Automatic Color in A Cell

I would like to automatically add red to a cell when
I enter an X. I would also like to the X to appear
in bold face.

In other words, if I place an X in a particular field
I would like that X to appear in boldface and I would
like the cell background to change to red ( or more
precisely a light shade of red ) which is the lightest
color available on the color pallette.

Is that possible?
