    Transfering data to new source

Here's what I am looking for:
I take my information and export into excel format from another source.
It goes into excel just fine, and follows a time format. It's a callcenter stat
page. What happens is, if a call doesn't come through at 2 am, it skips that time period and moves on. So, when I try to transpose those numbers into my excel sheet, it doesn't skip time periods and the numbers add up incorrect.
Is there a way to "count" the time periods and sum the results from those up? Instead of cells?
I am attaching the first source to show what information I get. I then transpose this line into a timeline. Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
about which periods are you talking ?
Could you add an example of what you are trying to do?

    Cheers

    New Source

Attaching a new sheet that explains better. I know that the source it comes from seems to be an easier place to fix this issue, but it's unfixable from that end for me.

    Thanks for any help.

Using a Pivot table did the trick ( see attached)
    BUT !
Your time column is actually text, not time !
So, to adapt this try the follwong
Enter 1 in an empty cell
    Copy
    Select the range with times
    Ricght-click and select Paste Special
    Select Multiply
    OK
    Format the range as time
Start your PT and group the time by hours.
    Does this help?
