    I'm using

C2 will bring up the dates of last years trainings. However, it is not giving me the correct "yes" or "no". When I enter the numbers in manually, it works, but it will not pull from the cells with the formula. Any thoughts?

Are the dates in the indexed sheet actual dates or text strings?

    Does this fix it?

Okay, I found the problem. I imported the dates from Access, which for some reason, doesn't have them show up as numbers. As soon as I change them to numbers, they're fine.

How do I convert all of them to numbers without having to change each cell individually?

That's what I was suggesting before....

Select the column and go to Data|Text to Columns and click Finish.

didn't seem to do it. I'm assuming that delimiting the column should convert them?

Maybe try selecting the column again...

Go to Data|Text to Column and skip to the 3rd dialogue..

choose Date form the data column format area and then select the appropriate date format from the drop down menu.
