    Breaking links to external Excel files

    In Excel 2003, how does one delete/break useless links to external files? The "Links" command under "Edit" does not appear to have any relevant actions to take.

    When you open the work book, excel will tell you that you have unavaliable links,
    then click edit links,
    then select the links and click "Break links"
    I need your support to add reputations if my solution works.
