Hi, I have an Excel file and when transferring it to and from shared areas, via email or even usb keys it has a tendency to become corrupt invoking the Microsoft recovery procedure which recovers the file but strips out most of the contents with it

I read somewhere ages ago that sometimes Excel files can become corrupt over time. What I would like to do is 'clean' this file and transfer the whole of the contents of the old workbook to a new one. So that's everything, data, formats, formulae, named ranges, vba code, the lot

Does anyone have any advice on an easy and straightforward to achieve my objective i.e. take an Excel file that appears to have become corrupt and convert to a clean, working one?
