I am using Excel 2007 and I am trying to import a text file that has about 750,000 rows. When I do an import with a text file as its source it only gets to 65,534 rows like it does in Excel 2003. It does this because its in "compatability mode". how do I turn this mode off?? I want the normal 2007...

Firstly a question please, are you using an old file that you used from excel 2003 ?
If so, 'Save As' the file as a 'Excel Workbook' (.xlsx)
Also you may need to change this setting.
With Excel open go to the 'Office Button'
> Excel Option > Save > 'Save files in this format:' > change the setting to 'Excel Workbook'
