I'm trying to figure out an Internal Rate of Return for a spreadsheet. The answer is supposed to be: 29.42% however I'm getting 25.94%.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong in my IRR function on the Profitability worksheet? I'm currently using Excel 2007 by the way.

Can you supply more information, as far as the data you are using as well as the formula or a version of your spreadsheet saved as an earlier version of Excel?
Okay, I'm uploading a 97-2003 version of the spreadsheet.
Basically, I want to find the Internal Rate of Return for various different Cash Flows that occurred during a 5 year period.
The function I'm currently using is: =IRR(B9:F9)
I think you may have applied the formula to the wrong row.
If you change your formula to
the result is the 29.42% you mention in your original post.
