    COUNTIF Problem

    Hi,

    I have a column of values in "£"s and i need to count how many entries there are within a range. I have been able to do it with text but not money values with £ signs!!

    any ideas...

    Do you mean COUNT(range) ?
    Where range: A1:A10 etc...

    Or by range do you mean count values with a specific range of values ?

    Oops - was using COUNTIF instead of COUNT - it now works!!
