    Advanced Filtering criteria

Hi, I'm doing my homework in Excel about Advanced Filtering and I can't create a formula that filters me some stuff.

So here's the thing: let's say we have a table like this:

    Name:------Age:----Brothers:----Sisters:
    Tom--------19------2------------5
    Jane--------24------3------------1
    Anthony----32------3-------------0
    Tim---------42------3------------2

And I need a formula to filter out all who has age between 25-30 and who's older than 40. In our example the result would be Tom, Jane and Tim, but what would be the formula? I've googled hours for this, but I just can't find anything. If I think I got it, it won't work.

Ok, here's another one. I need a formula to filter out everyone who has 3 brothers and who has atleast 1 sisters. In our example the result would be Jane and Tim.

Please help me on this one, realy stuck at it.
    Thanks.

Hi Rocu, and welcome to the forum.

Using Advanced Filter is very useful, but rather than just give you the answer(s) -- this is homework after all -- see the following site which does a great job showing you how to setup Advanced Filter criteria to get your results.

    Hope that helps!
