missing numbers list

I am looking to produce a spreadsheet that when importing a csv that contains 5 columns will look at colum #1 (or column A) and yield a list of numbers that are consecutive or have gaps - as an example for the import of column # 1, would be (1,2,3,5,8,10,11, 12, 13 ,25, 27, 28, 29,30,31,32, 33)

so the resulting list would produce a list of the following:
(1-3,5,8,10-13,25,27-33) OR a list of the missing numbers:
(4,6-7,9,14-24,26)
I would like to see the coding to obtain both if possible.

My addin, available via the link below has a utility that will return numbers missing from a sequential range, irrespective of whether or not the range is in order. Once installed, go to Ultimate > Range > Number Sequence Checker.
