    Inventory Style Questions. <100 when >100 and Pulling from 2 Books

    How would you do this?

    If I have columns for paper (Original QTY - Used - Returned ) And the original stock qty was (106) and returned (0) how would i get it to never show more than (100) in the used column? But want it to show the numeric number of what’s left from the original qty but never over 100?

    For inventory spreadsheets is it possible to have two different workbooks and have one pull from the other without the user having access to the data inventory book?

    You can use the MIN function.

    For example, in cell B1 you can use:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    This formula shows the value of A1 in cell B1, UNLESS A1 is greater than 100 (in which case it shows 100)
