    remove blank cells in a colom

    Hi There,
    I have data in a colom and want to remove the blank cells and move the populated cells up, how can i do this?

    one way is to

    add in a second column column B.
    number this sequentially.
    then sort by column A (the one with your data in) this will move the blanks to the top. delete these lines
    resort by column b
    delete column b

    Select the Column.

    Press Control + G
    Click on Special.

    Select "Blank" radio button ( 4th on the left side)
    Click OK.

    Now right click on any of the highlighter cell .. and select Delete .. Shift cells up.
