    Exclamation sum literally

    Hi, I have this issue:

    1.67 -> DISPLAY 2 ROUNDED

    1.67 + 1.67 = DISPLAY 3 ROUNDED

    but I would like to know how to sum 1.67 as 2

    WANTED -> SUM 2 AS A NUMBER AND NOT A ROUNDED
    2+2 = 4

    I've been trying various combinations, but currently no joy

    You mean?

    =ROUND(A1,0)+ROUND(B1,0)

    where A1 and B1 contain the numbers to add together.
    Where there is a will there are many ways.

    It's not clear what you are trying to do. You could use a dummy column. Assuming your values are in Column A, In B use the formula

    dragged down. and sum column B

    OR

    You can use the following Array formula (instead of Enter, use CNTRL SHFT ENTER)

    You should see brackets around the formula if you do it right {}
    Either of these work for you?

    Sum rounded values

    Maybe something like this:
    Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Where: A1 and A2 contain numbers or formulas.

    Does that help?

    I just tested Ron's solution and got 4..

    Make sure you change the range in his solution to match the range of interest in your data.

    Compare the attached workbook example to what you posted.
    Are there any differences?
