Copy Excel Graphs into new worksheet without graph linking to original worksheet data

    Hi,

I want to copy a worksheet containing a graph and the source data. When I do this, the graph is still linked to the source data on the original worksheet.

Is there a way I can copy the worksheet so that the graph links to the new worksheet data?

    Thanks

If you copy the actual sheet range than a range on the sheet, which includes both data and graph, the links will update to the newly copied sheet.

Thanks Andy, do i need a macro to copy the sheet range and paste on to a new sheet or is it more obvious.

When I highlight, copy and paste, I still have the same problem (ie new graph points to data on the old worksheet).

    PS - Great website!

You have to copy the actual sheet rather than a range on the sheet.

You can use code or you can do it manually.

If the worksheet contains other information which you do not want you would need to delete that after the copy.

This seems to work in Excel 2003, but not for 2007. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Ben
