An interchangable data cell in two separata worksheets?

Hello, I have a cell A1 on sheet 1 that has the words "pending" on it.

    I want

    1) A1 on sheet 2 to reflect A1 on sheet 1
    2) when you change the words on A1 sheet 2, it matchingly changes the words on A1 sheet 1
    3) when you change the words on A1 sheet 1, it matchingly changes the words on A1 sheet 2

    Is this possible?

    I'm using excel 2003

    Thank you!

You will be required to use VBA to do this I'm afraid.

The following should be pasted into "ThisWorkbook"

    Thank you!!

However, what if I need ...

    1) Cell A1 on sheet 1 to correspond to Cell H5 on Sheet 2?
    2) I need these different cell coreespondences about 100 times?
ex) Cell A2 correspond to Cell H7 on Sheet 2, then A6 vs J9 .... etc

I know nothing about VBA but is there a simple thing I can change in the code you gave me and just repeat it multiple times in order to get the two results I've mentioned above?

    thank you

I'd try to think of a different way to do whatever you're trying to do. Hard-coding all those correspondences would make a very fragile implementation.
