Lining is weird. Cant put it back to how it should be..

Hey everyone,

I have a very frustrating problem in Excel which I cant figure out..
The line numbers on the left have shifted and I cant put them back where they belong. Every time I try, it just goes all weird. I've searched high and low for settings to change it back but haven't found my answer.. And something like this is hard to explain in a Google searchbar..

Even if I which browsers, it stays shifted. I use it for work and have a lot of excel files to work on. But I cant do anything like this..
I hope someone can help me out..

Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook (yellow banner: HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK). Screenshots are of little practical use as we cannot manipulate them.

A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative data that has been desensitised. The sample layout accurately matches that of your real data. It also has expected results mocked up, worked examples where required, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.

Hey Ali,
Thank you for the quick response.. But that is where the problem lies..
I also have Excel installed in my PC. But opening it there does not give problems. I can attach a file, but it won't have the issue in it I have just tested that.
I use OneDrive so I can work from more then one place at the same time. But it looks like the picture shown for some reason. Every excel looks like this.

It has to be a setting.

Left is how it is shown in Excel online with Onedrive.
Right is how it looks in Excel on desktop. The right one is downloaded from onedrive so it is the exact same file.

Please attach the WORKBOOK. Then I can look at it in Excel Online.

Are you using regional settings that require text to be read from right to left? Excel Online uses your regional settings to determine on which side of the page the rows should appear. Go to File | Options and check.
