How do I exclude user names from comment boxes

I use comments a lot but don't want the user name to appear by default in the box. Is there any way to turn this off?

To change the name displayed in the comment box.

Unfotunately I need a bit more. Where do I put this code - is it a macro/ If so how do I activcate it automatically?

It is a macro, yes.

To enter it, do ALT & F11 to open the VB editor

Do Insert > Module

Paste the code into the window that pops up

Close the VB editor with the cross in the corner.

In excel, run the macro from the menu.
