    Linking Excel Calendar to Spreadsheet

    Hello Everyone,

I am new to this and would first like to thank anyone that can provide feeback on my dellema, it is much appriciated.

    | am wondering if there is a way to link information from one spreadsheet to an excel calander on another spreadsheet in the same workbook without having to write code?

For example, i schedule subtrades for a building company, so on sheet 1 i will have an action (excavation) and the date date scheduled (6-Jan-09). Can i have this action show up on the corresponding date in the calander(s) located in sheet 2?

Once again any information is greatly appriciated.

    Thanks you,
    Matt

This can be done. It would require a couple of heavy lifting formulas, but it's doable.

If you post your workbook and include highlighted examples of where you want things to appear, we can help set it up for you.

Click GO ADVANCED and click on the paperclip to attach a workbook to a forum message.

Re: Linking Excel Calendar to Spreadsheet

    Hello,

Thanks again for taking a look at this. I have hidden some columns in the document to reduce clutter and highlighted as you requested. They can be found under the Sarasota and Landmark Tabs, and colour coded with appropriate calendars on the ends.

If you find a better way of going about what i am trying to achieve please let me know, the more information the better because I'm not stuck in my ways of how to go about this. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

    Thanks again,
    Matt
