    Connect Y-error points

Hey All!!! I am trying to make a chart of my swimming times for the season. I logged all my times into the computer and all of the meets...but i didnt swim the same event at all the meets! So for one event there will be a couple of blank spaces inbetween data points. On a line graph it just becomes a point and does not connect to the rest of the graph. Does anybody know how I can connect those dots??

    Thanks in advance
    ~Diabloizzle

p.s. Im super new to excel so I'm not 'hip with the lingo' yet!! :P If you need me to explain anything just let me know. I could also attach the file if that would help you understand.

Select the chart and then use menu
Tools > Options > Chart > Plot empty cells > Interpolate.
    Cheers
