I have a worksheet ("Data") loaded with a column of pre-set dates and rows of data in a dozen or so columns against each date. On a second sheet, I would like to enter a date and be able to find that date on the data sheet and show it on the second sheet ("Report") together with it's associated columns of data. Next time I enter a different date on that "report" sheet, I want to show new data related to that date, from the "Data" sheet.
If a non-matching date was entered, could it be made to report , for example, "Error - Check date entered" ?
The second small requirement (!) is that, on the Report sheet, I want to enter the 'Amount of Rent paid' on that date, and keep a progressive list of rent paid. A new amount of rent will be entered each week.
This is for my local church. Can anyone help me, please?
