    Information consolidation

    Hi
    I have the following dilemma:

    I have information from three different sources in excel format which are common as general, but in details have different column names. I would like consolidate all those three sheets to one without repeating of the columns with equal names.
    In this order of thinking is there any possibility to make a pivot table from three different excel using as base one particular column (article code…. for example)?

    Could you help me with this?

    Not sure about the pivot table, but if you post up your sheet with a sample mockup of what your desired goal would be, we can help. It doesn't have to be your whole sheet, but enough cross sample to see all the issues.

    Hello,
    Sorry for late reply, but I was trying using excel query to extract the information under several columns. I have had partial success, because actually my goal is to put in one table hole information from those three available according one column which is common for all three Excel sheets. The problem using data base query is that I can put each sheet information under the previous on the consolidating file, which is not so efficient (making a pivot I am loosing some of the info).
    Please find in the attachments three sample excel sheets, my goal is to put all available information, concerning column article in one sheet on columns, in such way to be able to make pivot without loosing information.

    PPS Be aware the exel data I am receiving is static (automatically generated), so I can't do many changes beside extracting information.
