    Need to remove spaces

Hey all... I have a cel that has about 100,000 phone numbers and at the end of some and before sum, there are spaces added to end.

is there a formula, or a way to take everything away except for the 10 digit number?

    Please help...

In an adjacent cell, =trim(a1) and copy down.

    Re: Need to remove spaces

okay, that worked. However, I need just the number without the other beeing there. So when I copy it and paste it to notepad or something. then copy and paste again,, I get same spaces again.

AM I doing trhis wrong? I am sure I am.. lol

What do I need to do to remove spaces, but when original cell is deleted it will remain trimmed with no spaces.

Copy the column with the formulas, then paste as values (Edit > Paste special, Values) over the original, then delete the formula column.
