I have a excel file which is imported from my website contains all members details... when I open it all individuals details comes on 1 line ( 1 cell) and would like to seperate it.. copy paste obviously is very difficult cos of too many data..
    example of this..
Siobhan; "Evans"; "[email protected]"; 1984-04-15; "07968502890"; "Oxford"; 20090131172239

I would like to sepeate this data in in sperate cells and also seperate the different cities in different sheet so if someone enter london I would like the search and paste the data ( in different cells) in different sheet

Select all of your data, click 'data | Text to columns...'.
On first screen of popup dialog, choose the 'Delimited' radio button and click Next.
Tick the 'Semicolon' checkbox as your delimiter [I'm assuming that all separate data is delimited using a semicolon]
    Click 'Next' and 'Finish'

Beaten to it- must improve my typing speed/ make my instructions more concise...
Excel 365 user. To unblock a downloaded macro-enabled workbook, go to your "Downloads" folder > right click on the workbook name > click 'Properties' > check the 'Unblock' checkbox. You can now open the workbook.
