applying a formula and returning the results

    Hi,

I was wondering how I would go about the following, I want to send data from sheet2 (o1,02,03) apply it to a formula on sheet1 and return the results back to sheet2 in a set location (R1,R2,R3,R4). I also want to only apply data that in sheet one that has a unique ID field. Kinda hard to explain because I dont really know how it works.

    any help would be great

    Hi Silverchewy!
Please give more details about what you want to get as the result. I took a look at your workbook and it is not quite clear what the data on sheet2 means and where it comes from. If it is possible give step-by-step description of what actions you would like excel to perform.
In excel the cell containing formula displays the formula result, and you can put in links to another sheet and use data located there in your calculations.
As for unique values, you can use a filter to hide duplicates, but from where I see it, you are going to calculate something, and there are several rows of data for each value in column A, so you should decide how to treat it.
