I'm trying build a pricing model based on area of coverage. Cell C3 should yield the corresponding letter from column Z based on the milage between stations in columns A through M of the attached sheet. I need a sanity check on the forumula in C3 (which is the same throughout that table). I'm sure it is wrong, but if someone could steer me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
I couldn't spot what you were trying to do in your original formula. If you're just trying to assign a value A-H from the table in column Z using the mileage in column AA and the first table grid, a simple INDEX/MATCH does the job. Attached.
