    Randbetween

    hey

Is it possbile with the randbetween function to only randomate a number when a certin object is pressed?
As at the moment, every button i press or drop down data i select it will randomate a number, which i dont want to happen.

    Thanks

If you only need it computed one time, you can enter the formula into the cell and press F9 (Before you press enter). This will place the result as a value (not a formula) into the cell.

Otherwise, I would use VBA to solve this.
