    Multipy and Sum 2 Columns

    Hi,

I tried searching but I couldnt find an answer. I'm sorry if this has been asked before...

I need to calculate a Quantity by Cost:

    Column A has the quantity
Column B has the cost per quantity

Then I need a total.... I have about 30 rows and I dont want to say:

    =(A2*B2)+(A3*B3)... etc over and over...

    HELP!

You can use SUMPRODUCT function, e.g.

    =SUMPRODUCT(A2:A30,B2:B30)
