    ALL CAPS to Normal Style

    Hey,

I recently had some research outsourced and overlooked the fact that the file I received came in all caps.

Now I'm trying to mail merge in Word, but it looks ridiculous because the names I'm inserting are in all caps.

Is there a way that I can revert everything in the file to have the first letter caps and the rest lowercase?

I know I could do this in PHP extremely easily... but that requires all sorts of transferring back and forth to different file types and I'd like to avoid that.

    Thanks!

You'd need to use Zbor's formula in other cells and then Paste Special>Values back over the original cells. Does that work for you?

I ended up finding a 'plugin' for Excel called ASAP Utilities. It worked wonders!

I just selected the columns I wanted this changed on, and clicked a button. That easy.

I used the free version and it did just fine. I can't say whether the paid version is any better or not though cause I didn't get it. The free one is worth checking out though.
