ok all i am trying to do is get a cell to add up other cells if it matches a person's name, example i want cell d39 to look at cell b39 and compare it to the list of names in range b11 to b30 and if that person's name matches add the number in cell d11 well i mean add the range d11 through d 30 if the name matches i will send a copy so you can see.. thanks
