    =If(denominator_of_your_formula=0,0,your_formula)

where denominator is what you have in the denominator of your formula...
Where there is a will there are many ways.

    Thanks, what about the numerator?

Is there a way it to get it to not return anything instead of the 0?

    You mean?

    =If(denominator_of_your_formula=0,"",your_formula)

    You're the man!! Thank you!

For some reason, now I'm having another issue...I have conditional formatting set on this cell so if the value is over .1 it turns blue...now all the cells are turning blue even though they have nothing in them?? Any idea why or what I can do? I really appreciate your help!

If you CF is something like:

Cell Value Is >> greater than >> =0.1

    or

Formula Is >> =A1>0.1 where A1 is the cell to format...

    then it shouldn't highlight blanks....

rkrieg, I don't think you read the last post right.

If your current CF is ">0" change it to ">0.01" then it won't highlite blanks.

yea that's what it's set up as...

if cell is > .01 then highlight blue...

for some reason it's highlight these ones blue still which is odd?
