Hi!
I'm new to this forum, so I would like to say hello to everyone!
I'm having a problem with making a spreadsheet allowing users to guess how the games ends up in Hockey World Championship. I have several drop-down lists where the user can select teams that wins Qualification rounds, Quarterfinals and Semifinals.
At qualification rounds you can choose 8 teams from 12 possible to carry on, at quarterfinals you can choose 4 teams from the 8, at semifinals you can choose 2 teams from the 4. Here's the problem!
I want to be able to choose one winning team from the 2 teams in the final, BUT i also want to be able to choose from the 2 other teams that didn't qualify in the semifinals to decide who will take the Bronze medal. I have a list of the 4 teams in the semifinals where you choose 2 teams that carries on to the final, but how can I make a drop-down list to allow users to only choose from the 2 that didn't carry on to the finals?
In other words I want to take away two options to choose from by defining the OTHER two options in two separate drop-down lists.
I think the major issue is that the choices in the list are relative to what you have chosen in the other lists.
I use "Sheet 1" in the document for this task. The document is in Swedish, but i don't think it should be a problem.
I would greatly appreciate help on this problem!
Thanks in advance,
Jens
